Whatever you keep your contacts in, the path is the same: export a CSV, drop it in, check what it found. Ten minutes once, and you're done.
Every CRM can do this. So can a spreadsheet, Google Contacts, or the contacts app on your phone.
You'll see a preview of what it found before anything is saved. Nothing is written until you accept it.
It tells you how many came in, how many looked like duplicates, and anything it couldn't read. Then you're working.
The wording differs, the idea doesn't. Look for Export, Download, or Save As CSV.
None of this is required. The more you have, the more the app can do.
Column names don't matter. "Zip Code", "PostalCode" and "zip" are all understood.
An import only adds. If next month's file is smaller than last month's, your database does not shrink. An import is not a synchronisation.
Bring the same file back next month and it fills in blanks rather than overwriting. Anything you typed by hand stays as you typed it.
Matching runs on phone, then email, then last name with street and ZIP. The report tells you which rule matched, so you can disagree with it.
"Alan & Susan Lipkin" with two email addresses becomes Alan and Susan, each addressed by their own name.
Missing columns, odd characters, blank rows, phone numbers in six different formats. Real exports look like this. Anything unreadable is reported rather than silently dropped.
Your client list is yours. We don't sell it, share it, or contact anyone in it. Nothing is ever sent to a client automatically — every message needs you to press send.
You can export everything back out at any time, including the notes you've added.
Accounts are being built now. Join the list and we'll email you the moment you can bring your clients in.
